4. Am I allowed to use an “answering machine” when I’m not available?

No, you are not allowed to use an answering machine. When you are unavailable, you must go to your Account Manager Portal and click on the “inactive” box. Then, callers can see you are not available online. They will also get a voice message that indicates you are not available should they place a call to your virtual number. Please keep in mind your callers will rate the service you provide. If they get a messaging system instead of you, they most likely will give you a poor rating.

5. Can my service be suspended or terminated?

Yes, based on customer feedback or complaints, we retain the right to suspend or cancel your service offerings. If this occurs, we will also link your account to your former “real telephone number.” If you register using another email address and we cross-reference it to your real telephone number, we reserve the right to not provide you service.
